KLM Increased Flexibility Covid-19 Rebook Policy/ Air France is Reopening the Skies to All, Flight After Flight

by Air France July 27, 2020

Now, when travel restrictions are progressively lifted and borders are opening again, KLM keep monitoring the COVID-19 development worldwide closely, understands the uncertainty customers still experience and therefore offers more time and flexibility.

Cabin to cabin rebooking

KLM offers customers the flexibility to rebook their trip in the same cabin at no extra charge, even if the original booking class is not available. Customers that need to reschedule their journey to a later moment in time can do this without additional costs if the new flight departs before or on 30 November 2020.

Class to class rebooking

Customers that need to rebook their trip to flights that depart on or after 1 December 2020 can change their reservation within the same booking class free of charge. If the same booking class is not available on the desired new date, the fare difference is charged.

Since the beginning of the Covid-19 health crisis, we have continuously adapted our flight schedule to ensure Air France's network continuity and meet repatriation needs, in accordance with the travel restrictions imposed by the authorities. We are pleased to announce an increase in both the number of flights we offer and the destinations we serve.

Our flight schedule is up to date until 24 October 2020, so you can book your next trip with confidence. To provide you with greater flexibility, we are also waiving ticket change fees.

Around the world borders are opening up slowly, therefore the flight schedule continues to be impacted by changes and remains subject to obtaining the required government authorization.
