IT system which contributes to extending the professional active life for nurses over 50 years

SIVECO is partner in the LetItFlow Research Project, along with leading experts from Romania, Spain, Austria and the Netherlands


Bucharest, 2015 July 24th - LetItFlow project - nurses, laboratory technicians - and adapting them to new procedures, protocols and operating techniques.

A European IT project, suggestively named "LetItFlow", aims to extend the activity of healthcare professionals. Specifically, this project aims to design and implement workflows in order to assist the medical staff over 50 years (nurses, laboratory technicians) in carrying out daily task and adapting them to new procedures, protocols and operating techniques.

LetItFlow project is co-financed by the European Commission, Ministry of Industr , Energy and Tourism of Spain Salud Carlos III, Institute of Spain , the The Austrian Research Promotion Agency FFG, Netherlands Organisation for Health Research and Development, and the Executive Unit for Financing Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation from Romania. 

The partners involved in this project are three well-known companies in the IT&C field (Romania, Spain and Netherlands), a traditional research institute (Austria), and two hospitals (Romania and Spain).


The coordinator of the project is the Integrasys company from Spain, and and its' partners are SIVECO Romania, Netherlands Noldus Information Technology, AIT - Austrian Institute of Technology, Hospital Universitario Virgen Macarena - Sevilla, Spain, University Municipal Hospital from Bucharest.

LetItFLOW is based on fixed and mobile platforms that interact with the nurses selected to participate in this project to guide them in their work activities.

LetItFLOW meets two major requirements: Change management within organizations (Procedures, Methods, Guidelines, Protocols), and applicability of high technologies in performing daily tasks, increasing efficiency, effectiveness and responsiveness.

"For this project we rely on our expertise gained from implementing IT solutions for the medical field. Our specialists will define case scenarios, will collect, aggregate, analyze and archive any relevant  medical information. These will be included in the platform will guide and streamline the medical  staff activity, in view of extending the working life after 50 years", said Otilia Bularca, project, SIVECO Romania.

The solutions to assist medical staff aged over 50 years will be first introduced in the consortium member countries and then in other EU countries as well.
