Jaco is Senior Advisor Digital & Commercial Strategy at OMV Petrom Downstream Gas, where he is driving the digital transformation towards a full digital customer experience, back office optimization & automation and change management. This builds on his previous role as Chief Innovation for OMV Petrom.
Before OMV, he spent four years at Shell, helping their transition to a more Open Innovation approach. He re-invigorated Shell GameChanger, and built Shell TechWorks, an innovative outfit that maximizes the use of external technologies in a ‘skunkworks’ approach.
Jaco also spent 23 years with Royal DSM in progressive business leadership roles across four different industries, including VP Business Incubator and Director of the China Innovation Centre.
