Ioana Mihai joins the EY Romania team and will take on the position of Corporate Finance Executive Director within the Transaction Advisory Services department. Ioana has over 18 years’ experience in the banking industry in Romania, previously within BCR - Erste, Citigroup and ING Bank. In the role she will take at EY Romania, Ioana will coordinate the Corporate Finance team, which, along with the Transaction Support and Valuation & Business Modeling teams, ensure EY’s portfolio of transaction advisory services.
Before joining EY, Ioana Mihai has coordinated the Debt Capital Markets department of BCR, which she built from the ground up. From this position, she coordinated large projects of syndicated loans and bond offering on the domestic market for large corporations and state companies, and contributed to the development of the bank’s professionals in the capital markets area.
Ioana is a graduate of the Faculty of International Economic Relations within the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies.
