coordinated by Prof. Marian Nicolae Ph.D., Associate Prof., Radu Rizoiu Ph.D. and Assistant Prof. Laura Toma-Dăuceanu Ph.D.

Representing a collection of studies in honour of Professor Valeriu Stoica, the book is a modest homage put together with the occasion of his 65^th birthday. The overall theme of the book is the evolution of the multifaceted concepts of Rights, Freedoms and Powers at the Beginning of the Third Millennium, these being the central themes of the studies and contributions made by Professor Valeriu Stoica, whether with a political content (or related to public policies), regarding “public law” (human rights) or "private law".

The book launch event will be held at the conference "Romanian Law, 100 years from the Great Union", organized by the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest, on November 22-23. Conducted on several simultaneous panels, covering the most diverse themes of public, private and criminal law, the conference will be a two-day legal marathon, attended by invited lecturers from the Hexagon of Law Faculties (Romania), as well as from the State University of Chisinau and the University of Chernivtsi, Ukraine.
