This year’s first meeting of the Hackathons Community, developed and managed by Oameni si Companii, will focus on a challenging topic: How to create a MedTech startup? The event is scheduled for January 26th, starting 4pm, on Zoom.
The panelists joining the debate are dr. Horea Timis, CEO at Heymedica, who will talk about the Romanian startup ecosystem; dr. Anca Pantea-Stoian, President of the Diabetes, Nutrition and Metabolic Diseases Committee within the Ministry of Health and dr. Bogdan Timar from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Dr. Victor Babes” in Timisoara, who will share their experience in developing Diabeta, the first medical chatbot dedicated to doctors treating Diabetes; Mircea Popa, Co-Founder & CEO at Medicai - Limitless Medical Imaging, who will talk about the challenges he had to overcome in creating his app, as well as the financing resources available for young students and entrepreneurs who want to develop MedTech projects.
The debate can be attended, upon registration, by individuals or organizations interested in the MedTech business ecosystem, as well as students, educational or tech companies. More details and the registration form are available in the invitation.
