Donate 2 Euro at 8839 to give the less fortunate the chance to have a decent home

According to the Eurostat statistics, 5 million Romanians live in severe poverty conditions, 1 million Romanians do not have heating, 41.2% of the Romanians do not have a bathroom or a shower, 55.3% live in overpopulated houses (while the European average is 17.8%), and 28.6% face severe housing deterioration. Proper and decent living in a healthy environment is a fundamental human right. In this context, in which the need for living in human conditions is so high, Habitat for Humanity Romania is launching “Everything starts at HOME!” Campaign.

Habitat for Humanity Romania believes in and promotes the idea according to which the personal, professional and social development of every individual is based on decent living. A house is more than just a shelter – living in human conditions offers dignity, safety, balance and is fundamental for the harmonious development of our families and communities.

Everyone who wants to support this initiative can do it by sending a text message worth 2 Euro at 8839. The value of the 2-euro donation does not contain VAT, and the campaign is supported by Cosmote, Orange and Vodafone. Other means to get involved are:
1. Secure donations by card in the account IBAN RO25 BRDE 050S V150 1751 0500, opened with BRD Oradea Branch;
2. Donations by PayPall by entering the website www.habitat.ro/doneaza ;
3. Allocating 20% of the quarterly profit tax, according to the provisions of the Tax Code in force, Title 2, Chapter II, Art. 21, Par. 4 - http://www.habitat.ro/parteneriate-companii.html .
