EY has launched Accelerating Entrepreneurs, a program that will help high-potential entrepreneurs around the world scale up their business.
Through this program, entrepreneurs will benefit from the guidance of a global team of EY experts and business leaders and from the opportunity to develop business relations with top entrepreneurs within the World Entrepreneur Of The Year™ gala. The event represents the global finale of the competition and it will take place between 3 and 7 June 2015.
Previously called Ready, Set, Grow, the Accelerating Entrepreneurs program has been renamed and redesigned to offer the winners of the Accelerating Entrepreneurs program a complete advisory, support and mentorship, including:
• A 90-minute growth session at EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year, where winners of Accelerating Entrepreneurs will present their business plans to a panel of “Growth Coaches” who will provide feedback and direction
• The opportunity to form ongoing mentoring relationships with their Growth Coaches and Entrepreneur Of The Year country winners
• The opportunity to benefit from an all-expense paid trip to EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year, to meet and network with leading entrepreneurs from over 60 countries who gathered in Monte Carlo
The selection process of entrepreneurs who will benefit from advisory and support from EY within Accelerating Entrepreneurs will be implemented by an independent pannel of experts, according to the following criteria: the company’s growth potential; leadership and entrepreneurial spirit; strategic vision; innovative and original thinking; finnancial performance, HR culture.

To apply for the Accelerating Entrepreneurs program, applicants must be an owner / founder / CEO of the company they represent and be primarily responsible for the recent performance of the company. The company must be at least two years old and must have reported USD 30 million or less in sales for each of the past two fiscal years.
