Dentons released its third Global Social Impact report, an annual collection of the Firm's work in communities around the world.
"As the world's first and only polycentric firm, our in and of the community approach is central to who we are," Elliott Portnoy, Global CEO and Joe Andrew, Global Chairman, state in the report. "Our commitment to pursue justice and work to alleviate hardship by partnering with our local communities, and the nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) and nonprofits that serve them, has expanded as our Firm's footprint has grown in 2015."

The report highlights only a fraction of the Firm's efforts. In 2015, Dentons' lawyers provided more than 75,000 hours of pro bono counsel, and our lawyers, professionals and staff collaborated with more than 300 NGOs and nonprofits across the globe.
"Dentons Bucharest has a commitment to the community in which it operates – from educational and cultural programs to social campaigns for people in need, our team provides pro bono counsel and gets involved in supporting diverse CSR initiatives on regular basis. More so, this year, as a member of Amcham’s Corporate Governance Committee group, I am happy to have coordinated an important project for the local community – the first Community Investment Guide meant to encourage companies to embrace a responsible, just and transparent behaviour with regard to their CSR programs through a better knowledge of the legal framework and practices applicable in this field.” said Anda Todor, Managing Partner, Dentons Bucharest.
