Deloitte has been ranked first in the top of the financial advisors active in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in Central and Eastern Europe in deals count by Mergermarket, a leader in M&A intelligence and analysis, in its latest Global & Regional M&A Report H1 2021. Deloitte has also been named the leading financial advisor in Europe based on deals count.
Deloitte’s teams of financial advisors worked on 22 M&A deals in the first half of 2021 in Central and Eastern Europe, up by nine deals compared to the same period of the previous year, with a total value of 928 million USD. As for Deloitte’s teams covering the entire European continent, they advised on 204 deals in H1 2021, up by 56 compared to the previous year, with a total value of 26,136 million USD.

In the first six months of 2021, Romania’s mergers and acquisitions market recorded 54 transactions, up by 12 compared to the same period in 2020, with a total estimated value of EUR 1.2-1.4 billion, according to Deloitte Romania’s analysis.
