Franklin Templeton, manager of Fondul Proprietatea assets, has been advised by a team of lawyers from the Clifford Chance offices in Bucharest and London coordinated by Daniel Badea (Managing Partner), Mădălina Rachieru (Counsel) and Radu Ropotă (Senior Associate), and Robert Trefny (Partner) and James Spencer (Associate), respectively. The team also included Cosmin Anghel (Counsel), Costin Sandu (Associate), Georgiana Evi (Associate) and Yolanda Ghita-Blujdescu in Bucharest, and Tony Lally in London.

Clifford Chance has coordinated all legal aspects of the entire process that began more than a year ago, such as identifying the best solutions in view of a successful listing, the drafting of the prospect and the rest of the documentation required by the listing, the communication with the regulatory authority in the UK (UKLA), and the negotiation of contract documents at international standards.

Clifford Chance Badea's international experience and solid Capital Markets portfolio is widely acknowledged, its practice being ranked among the best Romanian law firms in the field (Tier 1) by all major international legal directories.

In recent years, Clifford Chance Badea was involved in all the major transactions on the local capital market, including the two deals that have brought Romania back into foreign investors' focus: the Electrica IPO in 2014, worth 444 million Euro, and the Romgaz listing (2013) worth 386 million Euro. Also, the Clifford Chance Badea lawyers are actively involved in drafting and reshaping the capital markets legislation, alongside the Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF) and other authorities and professionals in this field.
