Anamaria Cora, EY partner, was appointed leader of the Assurance department starting with 1 July 2013. Anamaria takes over the leadership of the largest department in the company from Garry R. Collins, who will hold the position of Country Professional Practice Director for Romania and Rep. of Moldova.
Anamaria has over 16 years experience, of which 13 years in financial audit with EY and Arthur Andersen, during which she was involved in major financial audit projects, implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards or due diligence for privatizations, mergers and acquisitions. Anamaria specializes in the following industry sectors: oil and gas, power and utilities, banks, and insurance.

Anamaria became a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in the UK in December 2001, and, since 2005, she is a member of the Financial Auditors Chamber in Romania. Furthermore, since 2008 she is a member in the EY IFRS Technical Desk for EMEIA (Europe, Middle East, India and Africa).
