Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) informs that, starting with May 1, 2016, the List of Authorized Advisors for AeRO counts for 40 partners, out of which 27 are BVB Participants.
According to reports transmitted to BVB regarding their activity in 2015, Authorized Advisors have activated mostly for the transfer of companies from RASDAQ Market to AeRO, providing them also support for at least the first 12 months after their debut on AeRO. This co-operation has materialized in an increased transparency of issuers, including by starting the implementation of the Principles for Corporate Governance for AeRO. Part of Advisors is in the process of discussions with potential issuers, some of them inclined to attract funding through issuance of bonds with attractive interest rates.
According to the Agreement between BVB and Authorized Advisors, the parties have committed to co-operate for the successful listing of new companies on AeRO and to support companies for accessing funding on the capital market and for fulfilling their regulatory obligations arising from their quality of company admitted to trading on AeRO.
Moving forward towards a new phase of this co-operation, BVB is taking into consideration the possibility of conditioning the maintenance of the quality of Authorized Advisor by the contribution to the growth of AeRO market. Also, the promotional period in which the tariff for obtaining and maintaining the quality of Authorized Advisor have been suspended will end soon, BVB being in the process of revising the List of tariffs and commissions applicable to the alternative trading system.
Companies whose shares are admitted to AeRO market operated by BVB have the obligation to be in a contract with an Authorized Advisor for at least 12 months after their admission on AeRO.
