For one year, Andreea was seconded with the international tax structuring unit of PwC Amsterdam, which has contributed significantly to the development of her international experience.

In her new role, Andreea will focus especially on developing clients from the energy sector. At the same time, Andreea is the new M&A leader of the Tax and Legal Service practice within PwC Romania and will coordinate the Timișoara and Iași offices.

Andreea joined PwC Romania team in 2003, after graduating the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, having a Bachelor degree in Business Administration. In June 2016 graduates the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) and holds an Advanced Diploma in International Taxation - ADIT, one of the most prestigious professional certifications.

Andreea is an active member of Tax Committees within the American Chamber of Commerce and Foreign Investors Council. In this role, she will continue to contribute to the modernisation and development of the Romanian tax system.

Starting 1 of July Monica Movileanu will step in as Assurance Partner leading the Financial, accounting advisory services practice (CMAAS) in Romania. Monica will have an important role in developing a strong strategy for the CMAAS services both in Romania and in South-Eastern European territories.

She is member of the British Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA-UK) and of the Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania (CAFR).

“Our business grew at a high pace in the past few years and this also translated in the development of the Partnership team. The most important asset of PwC Romania is the people, therefore we want to offer exceptional career opportunities to our consultants. The professional success of Manuela, Andreea, and Monica comes after many years of hard work, with great dedication and excellent results, during which they developed from junior positions, to joining the most solid and reputed team of Partners on the local professional services market. I am very proud of their evolution and wish them all the best in their new roles”, said Ionuț Simion, Country Managing Partner, PwC Romania.
