Stratulat Albulescu is proud to announce that our Data Protection team won the Product Focus special award, within the Global Legal Hackathon, that took place this weekend, for the first time in Romania.

Global Legal Hackathon is a high-level event, engaging software developers, legal industry professionals, entrepreneurs and students, programmers and legal professionals, in a collaborative way, to create solutions that would drive the future of law through innovative legal technology. The main purpose of the event was for the programmers and lawyers to succeed in building technical solutions to legal issues.

The competition was attended by Cristiana Fernbach, Counsel within Stratulat Albulescu team as a mentor, as well as by the Data Protection team comprised of Elena Stan, Madalina Spataru and Catalina Finaru all associates with our firm. Team members have been able to win the Product Focus special award, outlining an application idea that focuses on the new Data Protection Regulation - GDPR.
