Raiffeisen Bank wins Deloitte’s Green Frog Award competition in Romania

Deloitte Romania is pleased to annouce that Raiffeisen Bank has won the third edition of the Green Frog Award competition in Romania and thus qualifies in the regional contest.

This year’s edition has attracted the most companies so far coming from a variety of industries from financial services, FMGC, life sciences, IT to oil & gas. The winner was decided by an independent jury and took into account the following criteria: sustainability performance and strategic commitments, materiality, content, structure and creativity in communication, impact measurement and financial and non-financial data integration.

Our consulting services offer in this area are not just mere beaurocratic exercies but long term partnerships for any organization.”

Over 60 reports are joining the national competitions across Central and Eastern Europe every year and the best qualifiy for the regional competition.

The following types of reports can join the contest: social reports, CSR reports, sustainability reports, and integrated reports covering the previous one-two financial years. Reports can be submitted by large companies, holdings, capital groups, SMEs, as well as foundations and universities. All reports must focus on the local market; the jury will not evaluate global reports translated into the local language. Reports should follow: GRI Standards, GRI G4, IIRC, UN Global Compact, ISO 26000, EU Directive 2014/95/EU on disclosure of non-financial and diversity information by certain large undertakings and groups.

Romanian companies have qualified in the CE competition in the past editions of the contest, with Ursus Breweries receiving an honorary mention from the jury. For more information about the competition, please see here.
