UCMS Group, part of TMF Group developed SMS Service, a True HR software solution functionality, aiming to ease the activity of Human Resources. HR practitioners are overwhelmed with requests from blue collar employees, which don’t own a company email address.
SMS service allows all employees to connect to Employee Self Service portal (ESS), in case they have lost their login details, by using their mobile phone to recover the data and not having to place a request to their HR or IT departments.
Employees without company emails are able to visualise and operate the same personal and contractual data in ESS and will be notified on their mobile phone in case a request they have submitted has been approved or denied:
- visualise the vacation history
- submit an absence/sick/vacation leave
- visualise their payslips (can be restricted for confidentiality reasons)
- print out different employee certificates
HR professionals gain more time to focus on their core activities, once they are relieved of this administrative burden. Also SMS service can be offered as an extra salary benefit to employees owning email address within the company.
