Roberto Pătrășcoiu appointed National Director of Habitat for Humanity România

Roberto Pătrăşcoiu was appointed the National Director of Habitat for Humanity România. He holds a PhD in integrated urban development from the University of Bucharest and a Master of Science in structural funds project management from the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies.

Roberto has considerable NGO and management experience. Before pursuing a successful freelance consultant career in project and grant management between 2009 and 2015, Roberto was the head of grant operations for World Vision International’s operation in România. His work materialized in projects and investments for families in need, with a value of over 20 mil. EUR, in areas such as rural development, anti-poverty, education, participatory democracy or health.

“Home is the place where you relax after a hard day at work, the place where you enjoy the warmth of the family and where you see your children taking their first steps in life. I believe that every person has the right to have a decent home and I am very happy to serve accomplish Habitat for Humanity’s mission”, said Roberto Pătrășcoiu.

Roberto took office in December 2016 from Gabriel Pascal, the interim director, currently Programs Director.
