Vodafone Romania has been certified for the third year in a row as the “Best in Test” mobile network in Romania, obtaining the highest total score for the quality and performance of its data and voice services, after measurements on all Romanian mobile networks conducted by the independent auditor P3 Communications during November and December 2016.

“The latest Best in Test certificate awarded by the independent auditor P3 communications confirm once again that our customers enjoy superior mobile services in Romania, allowing them to communicate and to enjoy mobile entertainment anytime and anywhere they please. Our Supernet™ 4G+ continues to provide our users with the best voice and data experience”, said Ravinder Takkar, President & CEO, Vodafone Romania.

Compared to other Romanian mobile networks, the measurement shows that Vodafone Romania’s network was “Best in Test” in the Mobile Benchmark Romania test conducted by the independent auditor P3 communications between November 5th and December 12th, 2016.

The performance benchmark measurement campaign was carried out in a series of big cities, small cities, rural localities and connecting roads covering the Romania territory. The localities have been randomly chosen by P3 Communications and included Aiud, Avrig, Babadag, Brasov, Braila, Bucuresti, Botosani, Caransebes, Cernavoda, Cluj-Napoca, Constanta, Craiova, Drobeta-Turnu Severin, Gura Humorului, Fetesti, Harlau, Iasi, Lugoj, Ovidiu, Pitesti, Slatina, Tecuci, Timisoara, Targu Frumos.
The testing methodology is updated every year by P3 communication in order to reflect the increased customer expectations, the availability of the latest mobile technologies in the respective country and to stress the mobile networks at their maximum capabilities. The drive test routes are randomly chosen every year by P3 communications; they are not communicated in advance to the mobile operators in order to secure the objectivity and accuracy of the end results and to reflect the real customers experience with each mobile network provider.
