The Vodafone Romania Foundation and the React Association start the seond round of blood transfusion centers renovation and refurbishment. Over 190,000 Euro will be invested in the renovation of the route the donor takes inside the blood transfusion centers.

More than 80,000 blood donors, 150 medical staff and 80 hospitals in Romania will benefit from refurbished spaces and medical equipment.

10 county transfusion centers will be renovated as part of the „A chance for life” program. Each of them will benefit from refurbishing and modern blood transfusion equipments, based on an analisys of the needs run in the first months of the year. Thus, the county centers in Arad, Alba Iulia, Brașov, Constanța and Călărași will benefit from the renovation of the route of the donor and blood collecting equipment, while the centers in Bistrița, Drobeta-Turnu Severin, Sfântu Gheorghe, Slobozia and Târgu-Mureș will receive new top line equipment for collecting and processing the blood.
