As of April 1st Fadlallah Zayat takes over the General Manager mandate of the JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel, previously coming from a position of Regional Director of Finance for Eastern Europe.
With over 2o years of experience within the company, Zayat has a substantial and thorough experience in Finance, beginning in 1994 at the JW Marriott in Dubai as a General Cashier and leading up to position as Area Director of Finance for Western and then Eastern Europe, providing direction and support to 54 hotels across 16 countries. Other notable experiences from his international career include the take over and rebrand of the first Marriott hotel in Yerevan, participating in the pre-opening team of Marriott and Courtyard hotels in Tbilisi and the assignment of Director of Rooms Operations at the Warsaw Marriott.
At the first mandate as General Manager, Zayat says that he took on this new professional challenge motivated by the substantial size of the property, on the brinks of an important renovation and in a strong, competitive market.
