Dentons strengthens its competition practice in Bucharest by recruiting Raul Mihu as partner and Madalina Constantin as managing counsel.
Raul Mihu is a highly experienced competition and life sciences lawyer, who will take lead of these two practices in Dentons’ Bucharest office. He is a winner of the prestigious “Client Choice Award” in Competition from International Law Office, a legal directory that acknowledges those practitioners around the world who stand apart for the excellent client care they provide and the quality of their service. Raul’s award comes as a recognition of his expertise in the competition sector, which includes assessing and reforming clients’ business practices and franchise systems, assisting them in investigations by competition regulators and devising novel approaches to client needs in this field, both in Romania and at the European level.
Madalina Constantin will act also as a core member of the Bucharest competition team and will consolidate the corporate and M&A practice group. Madalina’s involvement in the competition sector (both in Romania and internationally) entails advising clients on restructuring distribution and franchise systems, securing merger clearance for M&A transactions, ensuring ongoing compliance of clients’ practices with competition regulations and designing competition trainings.
