Founders of Transylvania College, Mrs. Simona Baciu and Dr. Dan Baciu were awarded the prize for education “Teacher of the Romanians” within the Gala “Mediafax 2014 – The Gala of Values”. The awards were given to those who implemented the values that Mediafax has believed in ever since its establishment.

The award was presented to Mrs. Simona Baciu in recognition of her achievements in the field of education by an actor, portraying the famous educator Gheorghe Lazar, considered to be founder of the Romanian education. Simona Baciu declared: “I am extremely honoured. 4th March has become a landmark, a moment when my children and my students matter”.

The award for education presented to our founders honors us and reinforces our belief according to which the investment in the children’s education is an investment in the future of an entire nation.
