An international star at the Royal Charity Concert

Giuliano Carmignola reveals the treasure of the Baroque music at the sixth edition of the Royal Charity Concert organized by Princess Margarita of Romania Foundation. The artist will perform on the stage of the Athenaeum on October 25th, 2013, at the annual fundraising concert. The charity event is held in the presence of the Royal Family of Romania, to celebrate His Majesty King Michael anniversary.


Giuliano Carmignola is one of the biggest singers in Europe, specialized in baroque violin. The Italian violinist and conductor, formed in the ambiance of the Venice school of music, is passionate with the music of Vivaldi. Equally accomplished in the modern and baroque violin, Giuliano Carmignola is highly appreciated worldwide for his extensive repertoire, including Baroque, romantic and classical works. Carmignola is a frequent participant in baroque music festivals throughout Europe, including Bruges, Vienna, Brussels, Barcelona, Salzburg and Lucerne.

Alongside the violin ensemble La Stravanganza, Giuliano Carmignola will delight us on the stage of the Romanian Athenaeum on October 25t, on the occasion of the anniversary of HM King Mihai.
The funds raised from the concert are earmarked to Young Talents – a national program that supports and promotes talented young artists coming from families with low income, who need financial support in order to develop their potential and express their talent.

Using the funds raised from the concert that took place in 2012, the Foundation supported throughout this year 28 young musicians and artists with individual scholarships worth 2,000 euro each.
