According to Law 448/2006, companies with over 50 employees but less than 4% staff with disabilities have two options: to pay a monthly tax or to purchase goods or services from authorized sheltered units, for the equivalent amount.

Motivation Romania Foundation’s sheltered unit helps its clients purchase goods and services from other suppliers (e.g. office supplies, office equipment etc). Moreover, we offer training on disability and diversity awareness, as well as on the employment of persons with disabilities. We also provide consulting on ways to make your company’s building accessible to wheelchair users. Our products include: printed materials, handcrafted decorations, various objects made from recycled paper.

The sheltered unit within Motivation Romania Foundation employs persons with disabilities and creates opportunities for vocational training and employment. The revenues are used to finance to enhance the sustainability of projects implemented by the organization.
