AmCham Romania Events Young People Ask, Experts Answer - Debates with the new generation, a joint project by AmCham Junior Achievement , 1st session

AmCham Romania is pleased to announce Next Generation Debates .1, organized in partnership with Junior Achievement Romania through the AmCham Capital Markets and Financial Services Committee.

A different attitude towards money, financial instruments, spending and saving is one of the traits that distinguish Gen Z from previous generations and also a trend that financial players should take into consideration in their future projections. From this point of view, the Junior Achievement debates are an opportunity for experts to get a closer look at the concerns, needs and financial behavior of tomorrow's adults.

Financial education is one of the most important pillars of JA InspireTM, an educational platform where youth have free access to learning materials and consulting resources, tailored to the online environment and developed entirely by JA Romania's team. (jaromania.org link)

“Debates with the new generation“, a project launched by Junior Achivement Romania, aims to facilitate direct dialogue between high school & university students and representatives of the Romanian business environment. This new project is part of the broader #FutureReady initiative, carried out by Junior Achievement Romania for the purpose of promoting education and training of the new generations as the way to quickly adapt to the challenges of a less and less predictable and certain future.

AmCham Romania is the first organization to join the project through its Capital Markets & Financial Services and Corporate Governance committees, whose members have accepted the invitation to answer the questions on finance and leadership ethics asked by students enrolled in Junior Achievement Romania's programs.

The first debate, organized by AmCham and JA as a live event, will take place November 26, from 4 pm and will bring together the expertise of representatives from Citibank, Bucharest Stock Exchange and Dentons.

Throughout the Q&A session, which is expected to reach more than 100 JA programs participants aged 16 to 25, the experts will answer questions on finance & capital markets.

The discussion will be in Romanian.

Participation is open to all AmCham members, based on prior registration.
