Young People Ask, Experts Answer - Debates with the new generation, a joint project by AmCham and Junior Achievement, 5th session

AmCham Romania is pleased to announce Next Generation Debates .5, organized in partnership with Junior Achievement Romania through the AmCham Corporate Governance Committee.

The project “Debates with the new generation“, launched in 2020, by Junior Achievement Romania in partnership with AmCham Romania, continues the interactive sessions in the Fall Edition 2021, aiming to facilitate direct dialogue between students and professionals, representatives of the Romanian business environment, members of the AmCham Committees. Part of the #FutureReady initiative, the project promotes in this way education and training of the new generations, to quickly adapt to the future challenges and opportunities.

On the 27^th of October, from 16:00 p.m., representatives of the Corporate Governance committee –Ciprian Lăduncă, Chair of the AmCham Corporate Governance Committee, Member of the AmCham Romania Board of Directors/LCL Grup; Bogdan Frățiloiu, Deputy Chair of the AmCham Corporate Governance Commitee/Roche Romania; Gabriela Popescu, Microsoft Romania; Olga Moroșanu, Nepi Rockcastle and Răzvan Butucaru, Mazars Romania – will share from their knowledge and expertise, with practical examples for the young participants from the Junior Achievement programs, covering topics related to corporate governance and start-ups.

Students will have the chance to directly address questions, during the debate (Q&A part), and obtain answers to different questions from the field, such as:

• Why is corporate governance important, also at the level of start-ups? What is the impact of corporate governance on a business, including attracting investors?
• What role can the advisory board play in entrepreneurial companies, including start-ups? What is an advisory board, how can it support a business?

The discussion will be in Romanian.

Participation is open to all AmCham members, based on prior registration.
