We invite member companies to join a two-day trade mission to Timișoara and Arad and discover business investment and development opportunities in constructions (incl. infrastructure), IT&C, manufacturing, tourism, and transport & logistics. The trade mission is scheduled for October 26 - 27, 2023.

The trade mission will feature meetings with local decision-makers - Alin Nica, President of the Timiș County Council, Dominic Fritz, Mayor of Timișoara, and Mihai Ritivoiu, Prefect of Timiș County - site visits to member companies that made significant investments in the region, and a business lunch with local stakeholders. The trade mission is designed to allow participating AmCham member companies to learn about development plans and investment stimulus available in Timiș County and the wider West region. The list of member companies we will visit includes Amazon, Coca-Cola HBC, Greenbrier AstraRail (ASTRA RAIL Industries), Hamilton Central Europe (Global Software Development Hub), and Iulius Group.

Practical Details

Participating AmCham members are advised to make their own return travel to and accommodation arrangements in Timișoara. Travel arrangements around and outside Timișoara, during the trade mission, will be made by AmCham.
