AmCham Romania is pleased to invite companies to the Conference “EU and National Trends in the Competition Policy” organized by AmCham Romania in partnership with the Competition Council on May 24, 2019, between 13:00 – 19:00, at the InterContinental Hotel, Fortuna Hall. Conference agenda attached. 

The conference tackles competition aspects of relevance at national and EU level, such as:

• The ECN Plus directive
• Cooperation between NCAs / between NCAs and the European Commission
• uniform application of Article 101
• Due process in competition law proceedings
• Gun jumping and exchanges of information during M&A transactions
• Privacy and competition

The event brings together representatives of the Romanian Competition Council, DG Competition, OECD, NCA in the region, academia, and the business community. For details, please refer to the attached agenda.

Participation is open to AmCham Romania member and non-member companies, as follows:

For AmCham member companies:

• free of charge up to two participants per company
• 200 lei/ participant beyond 2 participants

For AmCham non-member companies:

• 350 lei/ participant.

The amount is payable prior to the event in the AmCham Romania account opened with Citibank: RO92 CITI 0000 0008 2506 2009.
Cancellations made by May 22, 2019 will receive full refund. Late cancellations or “no-shows” will not be refunded.
