AmCham Romania is pleased to invite members to a flagship conference focused on ways of achieving financial sustainability in the healthcare system.

The conference is set to take place on Tuesday, October 1st, between 09:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., at the Pullman Bucharest World Trade Center, New York Ballroom. Please note that on-site participants' registration starts at 08:30 am.

The conference will gather key officials, healthcare experts, economists, and industry leaders to explore how Romania's healthcare system can balance necessary investments with the still unfulfilled needs of Romanian citizens and the demands of a growing economy. Discussions will also focus on leveraging healthcare innovations and a rapid access to new technologies in a financially sustainable manner.

The event will emphasize strategies for optimizing the national health budget and identifying new financing avenues to strengthen the quality and resilience of Romania’s healthcare system. Key topics include investments in primary prevention and screening, reassessing health contribution exemptions, and exploring additional financial resources, all with the goal of creating a more robust and equitable healthcare framework.
