AmCham Romania, with the support of the U.S. Commercial Service, U.S. Embassy in Bucharest, is pleased to invite members to a special meeting with Ms. Enoh T. Ebong, Director, US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) and Mr. Michael Lally, Minister Counselor for Commercial Affairs in Europe, U.S. Mission to the European Union on May 24, 10:30-12:30 at the Grand Hotel Bucharest (former InterContinental).
As we mark the anniversary of 25 years of the Strategic Partnership between the United States and Romania, the event will focus on the potential for strenghtening the RO-US commercial and economic ties in the context of the renewed transatlantic agenda endorsed during the last high-level US-EU Summit in 2021.
The discussion will concentrate on top issues on our agenda related to trade and investment policies, cooperation on the digital and green transitions through formats such as the US-EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC) and the US-EU Energy Council, sustainable economic recovery, competitiveness and growth in the post-COVID and current geopolitical context. The meeting will also allow a networking session with Ms. Ebong and Mr. Lally, who will be joined by representatives of the U.S. Embassy in Bucharest.
