AmCham is pleased to share a set of key messages elaborated under a joint AmCham Romania – CFA Society Romania financial education initiative, inviting member companies to help raise awareness on the importance of a healthy management of the personal and family finances.

For this purpose, the “Family Budget/Bugetul Familiei” outlines in a very simple and accessible language the five imperatives of a sound financial planning:

1. Prioritize!

2. Plan!

3. Take action!

4. Invest!

5. Get insured!

AmCham invites member companies to use such resources – printable and social media layouts – to pass on this important messages to their audiences – employees, clients, partners, etc.  Feel free to share the messages on company social media channels, include them in the internal communication materials, display posters or hand out flyers. 

Increasing inflation rate and increasing exchange rate are recurrent statements these days further emphasizing the need for responsible management of budgets at individual level.

The financial education initiative is among the actions undertaken by the AmCham Capital Markets and Financial Services Committee to support the larger financial inclusion objective, with impact on the overall development of Romania.
