AmChams in Europe (ACE) in partnership with the Washington, DC-based Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), is soliciting submissions for an initiative to enhance trust in business.

To join this initiative, AmCham Romania is inviting members – U.S. and EU companies interested to showcase their relevant projects in this context, to send their expression of interest to amcham@amcham.ro  by June 10^th.

This initiative seeks to go beyond traditional examples of corporate social responsibility (CSR) or philanthropy such as donating money or volunteering. The examples must be linked to the company’s core operations and relationships with its local supply chains and communities, with an emphasis on how it has contributed to strengthening local trust in business.

Please include a 300 word description of the project and its main goals, target audience and results. Try to also touch on the following questions:

• Which environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors is the project addressing?
• How does the project go beyond the classic examples of corporate social responsibility (CSR) or philanthropy such as donating money or volunteering?
• How is the project linked to the company’s core operations and relationships with its local supply chains and communities?

Each AmCham can submit up to three examples, therefore we will be selecting those that best address the scope of this ACE initiative.

Selected case studies from all participating AmChams will be published in an e-brochure and the companies will be featured at a virtual event later this year to showcase their work in the region.
