AmCham’s 25 years of presence and activity in Romania confirm that dialogue, consultations, and alignment are most efficient in reaching the common denominator and gaining a broad support for long-term objectives.
We trust that Romania’s 100 Anniversary holds unique opportunities for alignment and dialogue between the representatives of all the relevant stakeholders for the present and future of Romania.
In our view, after Romania’s major objectives of joining NATO and the EU, the country lacked a long-term vision and a roadmap to ensure the coherence and pace of Romania’s sustainable development process. Although its economic performance places our country in a favorable context, Romania’s potential remains untapped, while Romanians confidence in a prosperous future is declining.
In this context, AmCham organizes ROMANIA – FUTURE BY DESIGN Multi – Stakeholder Consultations during which representatives of all relevant private and public structures are invited to formulate together a bold vision for Romania.
AmCham’s mission in this project is to ensure the necessary resources for an open and inclusive process that will provide the organizational context for participants to contribute to the formulation of a vision for Romania’s future and to determine, which are those actions that each participant is personally ready to support for implementing the new vision, as formulated in the Declaration for Romania.
The sessions on May 14/16 and June 20 will be led by Herma Schmitz, transformational leader and executive coach for more than 25 years, internationally recognized for the bold and innovative approach of the projects she conducted, for the success of their implementation, both with institutional clients – administrations, governments, communities, companies and management teams – and high-profile individuals.
A dedicated session for AmCham Romania members will be organized on June 18. Invitations will follow shortly.
