AmCham Romania, a leading business association in Romania, is seeking a Public Policy Assistant to work together with a team of experienced professionals in advocacy and business events services.

The best fit candidate will be proficient in English (writing & speaking), well organized & responsible, a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, also capable to work independently.

A good understanding of the Romanian business and political climate is a plus. University degree is a must, preferably in Business Administration, Political Studies, Communication & PR or Law.  A Master’s Degree is a plus.

Key responsibilities include:

• Support and organize advocacy activities and follow-up activities: manage lists of working group members, send out invitations, write and send out meeting notes, collect input from various contributors, manage the follow-up actions, facilitate communication among committee members, etc.
• Prepare reports and summaries for the Board of Directors, AmCham events, etc.
• Proactively engage in joint advocacy and events projects.
• Support the Executive Director in management related admin tasks.
