AmCham is now part of the board of the National Council for Digital Transformation (CNTD) in recognition of the active role in promoting solutions for Romania’s digital transformation.

Board Member Dorin Pena, Co-Chair of the Digital Economy Committee, Cisco Director is  AmCham’s representative in the newly set up Council by the Authority for Romania's Digitalization.

“My aim is to bridge the know-how that already exists in the organizations I represent and to have a constructive contribution to the implementation of our shared objectives. We need to create the necessary conditions for more and more people to have access to the digital economy, not only to the information technology, but also access to digital processes, digitalized production chains, using tools that are either created or adapted in Romania. The state has a very important role in the digital transformation, and in order to provide citizens quality digital services that will enable them to thrive in Romania we need continuity, long term policies and projects that are started and completed.”

As Digital Transfromation is a leading AmCham strategic priority this year, our organization welcomes this public-private collaboration platform that will facilitate cooperation towards Romania's digital transformation.
