On March 3, in the evening, AmCham Romanai together with other business organizations, participated in a meeting hosted by Romania’s interim President, Ilie Bolojan.
We used the opportunity to convey key priorities of the business community for maintaining Romania’s Euro-Atlantic path and accelerating the OECD accession process for stability, predictability, and transparency.
AmCham emphasized the importance of keeping the flat tax, the need to safeguard the country's sovereign rating by investment agencies, to further digitalize the fiscal administration to increase tax collection, cut fiscal evasion, and streamline public spending and administrative reform.
Elisabeta Moraru, Member of the Board of Directors, and Letiția Pupăzeanu, Executive Director, represented AmCham Romania in the joint meeting with President Ilie Bolojan.
AmCham welcomed the dialogue focused on rallying public and private partners to work together to overcome the current challenges and to build a sustainable future path for Romania.
