ANAP launched in public consultation today the first handbook with best practices dedicated to the procurement of medical devices, elaborated in collaboration with AmCham Romania, as part of a joint project undertaken by the two entities during the past year.
The document is designed as a practical working tool, comprising, in addition to the published guidelines on procurement in the field of medical technologies/medical devices, a set of general principles and rules of best practices applicable in the process of planning and organizing public procurement procedures for products from the category of medical devices.
The guide will serve as a practical guide for the staff working in a public procurement department or administrative service of health units as well as for individuals engaged in a national mechanism for providing medical services or dealing with the provision of a transparent and well-managed procurement service for healthcare institutions.
Any proposals and/or comments can be sent within 30 days from the date of publication on the ANAP website to the e-mail address transparenta.decizionala@anap.gov.ro.
