The project "Mobile medical care" aims to help currently with free care refugees with medical emergencies who are in transit in Romania and who are housed in institutional or private refugee centers in Bucharest and its surroundings.
In this way, we want to help the immediate support of vulnerable refugees (children, young people, adults, the elderly), to help reduce the pressure on the public health system, while avoiding overburdening the ambulance service.
We intend to prepare and urgently use 5 mobile units and the related medical staff (doctors and nurses) and ambulance.
NECESSARY FUNDS:
PHASE 1 - 56000 euro (endowment 3 mobile units, medicines, doctor and nurses 2 months) -list of necessary medicines can be consulted here
PHASE 2- 53000 euros (endowment with type A ambulance)
For sustainability, after the refugee crisis, the division thus established will continue to provide home medical services to people in financial difficulty and benefiting from the Foundation's experience in similar projects, will become a self-sustaining medical and social entrepreneurship project capable of provides up to 23,000 medical services per year of which 30% are provided to social patients.
