More than 7.5 million children are trapped in the middle of the war in Ukraine, at risk of being displaced, separated from their families and exposed to trauma, disruption of education and access to medical services. Some of them, together with their mothers, have already managed or are about to leave Ukraine, to find refuge in other countries, including Romania. More than 290,000 Ukrainian refugees had entered Romania, most of them children and mothers.

Discovery is directing its global efforts to help war-torn Ukrainian families. Discovery RISE and Save the Children join forces and launch a global fundraising campaign for humanitarian aid for children and their families in Ukraine.
