News in the tax field are analyzed and debated at the TaxEU Forum 2023

The new tax regulations, legislative changes and their impact on the economic environment in Romania will be discussed at the TaxEU Forum 2023, the most important legislation and taxation local event. On February 9-10, at the JW Marriott Hotel in Bucharest, the event will bring together acclaimed specialists, practitioners with recognized activity on the local market, representatives of the Romanian Ministry of Finance and consultants with proven experience.

For two days, the participants will have access to current information about the impact of the new tax changes, the presentations and debates being supported by some of the largest and most active local tax consulting firms: Taxhouse-Taxand Romania, EY Romania, Biris Goran, BDO Romania, PwC Romania, Grant Thornton Romania, RSM Romania, TPA Romania, bpv Grigorescu Stefanica, Mazars Romania, Crowe Romania, Noerr Romania.

Having reached its 17th edition, the TaxEU Forum conference brings to the fore topics of great interest on February 9th, offering answers to some of the most important questions. Among the topics that will be addressed are:

  • Tax changes: the impact on taxpayers as a result of the tax changes for the year 2023;

  • The fiscal code: important changes brought to the provisions of the fiscal code for the year 2023;

  • VAT: provisions applicable in the field of VAT starting with 2023. Practical aspects regarding the application of VAT;

  • Labor legislation: the new directive on establishing minimum wages in the European Union;

  • Fiscal digitalization: news regarding RO-eFactura and challenges regarding the implementation of SAF-T fiscal reporting;

  • Fiscal control: rules and responsibilities regarding the performance of fiscal inspections by specialized institutions.

On the second day of the event, February 10th, the participants will have the opportunity to deepen the current issues in specialized seminars and receive applied solutions for the challenges generated by the legislation currently in force.
