Description:
AmCham Romania is inviting its members to join the Education Task Force, which will have its next meeting on March 31, between 14:30 – 16:30 hours. Confirmations must be confirmed in advance to Mihaela Dupleac at mdupleac@amcham.ro
The immediate objective of this Task Force is to focus on elaborating an AmCham position on the draft Education Law (attached). We understood that the draft will be publicly debated in a period of only 2 weeks. While we advocate for the extension of this short period, we need to start working at our comments and proposals.
AmCham intends to come up with two related documents:
- one would consist of general principles we advocate for, to govern the education system in Romania, and
- the other one would embed all technical proposals/ suggestions/comments to the draft law, in the form of a table with columns dedicated to a) text in the draft law, b) our proposal to modify the specific text and c) the rationale behind our proposal.
This approach would be similar to the one we’ve had with the modifications to the Fiscal Code (table) and modernization of the fiscal system (list of principles).
We shall be looking forward to hearing from you and to receiving your confirmations.
