The HelpDesk of the American Chamber of Commerce in Romania (the “AmCham Help Desk”) is a service provided by the American Chamber of Commerce in Romania (“AmCham”) and its Designated Members in view of providing preliminary, guidance answers, free of charge, to specific queries raised by the AmCham members in the fields of business law (excluding any criminal law related queries), accounting, tax and business management. The AmCham HelpDesk is open to AmCham members only. Members wishing to post a query in relation to the fields mentioned above must fill in the form provided on the website, including the e-mail address where the answer to the respective query would be provided. Queries sent by other means than by filling the standard form on the AmCham HelpDesk website will not be considered. If the query is duly sent and is found to be within the fields in which AmCham HelpDesk provides guidance, an answer to such query will be provided to the e-mail address mentioned when filling in the form on the AmCham HelpDesk website. The answer would usually be provided within maximum 10 working days from the receipt of the respective query.
AmCham or its Designated Members are not responsible for the information provided through this service and cannot be held responsible for the conceivable disadvantageous impact of possible inadequacy or incompletion of the data provided.
AmCham, the Designated Members and individuals providing answers to the queries made through the AmCham HelpDesk do not undertake any liability in respect to the content of the answers provided or the actions taken or not taken based on any or all the information or answers provided.
It should be noted that the information provided is considered to be of a first line assistance and users should contact the competent authorities, organizations or private companies/professional advice specialized firms for more detailed information or for advice on any course of action. AmCham or its Designated Members are not responsible for any action taken based on the information provided through AmCham HelpDesk.
