Topics:The event is geared towards those responsible for contracting within participating companies.
Day one will focus on the procurement process and how to locate current and future business opportunities. Day two includes a variety of speakers from the General Services Administration (GSA), United States Corps of Engineers, U.S. Army Contracting Command Europe. The presentations will include information on how their particular offices procure such things as services, construction and a variety of commodities. The instructors will demonstrate how a tender is evaluated and to become familiar with the proper procedures related to filling out required documents. Training will be provided for companies that want to find out where to locate current tenders. Participants will receive a CD with links to relevant information, a guide to doing business, a list of pertinent acronyms and a copy of contracting regulations.
Instructors from the Defense Acquisition University (DAU), and Department of the Army Personnel in Washington, D.C, and variety of U.S. Federal Procurement offices will conduct the seminar.
The training team will provide help to the companies that have problems with the provided instructions and registration on the second day of the seminar.
It is very important that all companies attending use the provided instructions and register for their Central Contracting Registration (CCR) and Duns and Bradstreet (DUNS) numbers, prior to the event.
Simultaneous translation will be provided as well as support material.
