On Tuesday, May 26, Business Standard economic and financial daily is organizing a new debate of the private Government series, five months after the current Cabinet came to power. Furthermore, the event ends the first round of debates that gathered members of the Executive and experienced business leaders.
Our special guest, Prime Minister Emil Boc, will debate, together with 150 consultants, bankers, and top managers gathered in the Private Government, top economic policy decisions on the Cabinet’s agenda. The prime minister will be accompanied by Minister of Public Finance Gheorghe Pogea, Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Radu Berceanu, Minister of Health Ion Bazac, Minister of Labor Marian Sârbu, Minister of Administration and Internal Affairs Dan Nica, and Minister of Economy Adriean Videanu.
The main purpose of the debate to find solutions to the current business problems, essential for the relaunch and support of Romania’s economy amid global crisis.
The event, hosted by Dan Suciu, television host at The Money Channel business station, and Adrian Mîrșanu, Editor-in Chief of Business Standard daily, will be broadcast live on The Money Channel starting at 10:00.
The goal of the Private Government project, initiated by Business Standard in September 2008 and supported by the American Chamber of Commerce in Romania, the Romanian Businesspeople Association, and the Foreign Investors Council, is to develop a permanent dialogue platform, useful for both businesspeople, in the context of the economic crisis, and decision-makers, who thus benefit from the know-how of the Romanian business elite.
