U.S. Business Mission to Moldova

The American Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Commercial Service at the U.S. Embassy – Bucharest would like to invite you to participate in the “U.S. Business Mission to Moldova” on June 16, 2010.
Moldova is poised at an important crossroads in its economic development, and is receiving more attention from funding organizations such as the EBRD and Millennium Challenge Corporation. The Government of Moldova has identified its vision and priority areas for investment in a report entitled Rethink Moldova: Priorities for Medium Term Development.
These areas present opportunities for American companies (excerpts attached) who establish relationships at the early stages. For U.S. firms in Romania that also have responsibility for the Moldovan market, this mission provides an excellent chance to increase market exposure and learn about new opportunities.
Our program will include business briefings, a press conference, and a reception hosted by U.S. Ambassador to Moldova Asif Chaudhry. American Ambassador to Romania, Mark Gitenstein intends to accompany the delegation from Romania. More information about the program is attached, as well as a reply form to indicate your company’s interest in participating.
