Based on the principles that good corporate governance requires integrity, transparency of decision making and proper supervision, this Code establishes a set of recommendations for joint-stock companies registered in our country and AmCham Romania members. It covers principles in the Romanian company law, and it also introduces new recommendations.

AmCham Romania proudly invites its members to a special event to launch the AmCham Romania Code of Corporate Governance.
The Code was diligently put together by the AmCham Corporate Governance Committee with the aim of providing guidance to Romanian joint-stock companies in their day-to-day management, as well as in the relationship between various corporate bodies, shareholders and other stakeholders, and establishing best practices of supervision and accountability.
