Advent’s current Romanian investments are Deutek, the leading wall systems provider (paint, plasters and adhesives); Ceramica Iasi, number three national ceramic bricks producer and LaborMed, strong generic pharmaceuticals producer which acquired in 2009 the product portfolios of Ozone Laboratories and Plantextract.
Advent 's exits in Romania include: mobile operator Mobifon (trading under the brand name Connex /Vodafone ), acquired by Vodafone , Euromedia, Romania’s largest outdoor advertising group, acquired by EPA/ Plasty Prod, Terapia, the leading generics manufacturer sold to Ranbaxy Laboratories and Brewery Holdings (comprising of 3 breweries with a 19% market share) sold to Brau AG.
Advent's most recent investment was the acquisition of an 80% shareholding in Centrul Medical Unirea, the leading supplier of high quality healthcare services (ambulatory and inpatient ).
