Amromco Energy
Amromco Energy is a privately-held independent exploration and production company based in Houston, Texas with offices in New York, Bucharest and Ploiesti Romania. The company core business is the enhancement of existing oil and gas fields in emerging markets. Amromco Energy is the first private company to produce hydrocarbons in Romania in the past fifty years with first gas production established in June 2003. The company is co-titleholder (50%) in eleven fields and titleholder (100%) in eighteen fields. In 2009 NAMR announced the company was the winner of an additional field (as 100% titleholder).
