McDonald's Romania
McDonald’s Romania was founded in September 1994 as a 100% direct investment by McDonald’s Restaurants Operations Inc., Delaware, USA.
McDonald’s Romania business philosophy is simple: QSC. This stands for “The best QUALITY food with a fast and friendly SERVICE in a CLEAN environment.”
The first restaurant opened in Romania by McDonald’s was at Unirea Shopping Centre, on June 16th 1995.
Today we have 52 restaurants in 20 big cities.
With about 2500 employees, McDonald’s is an important private employer on the Romanian market.
The total investment made by McDonald’s in Romania is over $55 million, but we should, also, mention the investments made by our local partners and suppliers (distribution, rolls, diary products, salad and the famous beef): $10 million.
McDonald’s Romania is based on an American concept, adopted here in Romania, run by Romanians for the Romanian customers.
